Unfortunately, the RAD was not held in 2022. However, after consulting with the authors, we decided to publish a collection of all the all prepared articles. We believe that the purpose of the RAD is to further the development and popularisation of alternative dispute resolution. Therefore, we are very pleased to invite our readers to explore the most relevant issues in the field of commercial and investment arbitration, mediation, and the non-trivial and intriguing solutions to related problems, proposed by the authors.
The collection features a Russian-language version of Professor Jan Paulsson’s article on state promises and their implications for foreign investors. We would like to express our gratitude to Professor Paulsson for allowing us to translate and publish this article in Russian. This opportunity gave us a sense of involvement in a study that vividly illustrates the challenges in finding a balance between the interests of investors and states.
